We recently had our master bathroom renovated and I’m OBSESSED with how it turned out! After our wedding we decided to renovate our bathroom for a handful of reasons — although our old bathroom was clean and looked nice it just wasn’t our style. Not only was it not our style, but the counters were too short for us, the jet tub was tricky to keep clean (and was something we rarely used) and we wanted to brighten it up a bit.
Tony let me take the lead in designing our new bathroom since I’m Pinterest crazy.. so I went straight there for some Modern Farmhouse Bathroom ideas and put together a vision board in Photoshop of what I wanted. Every time we went to purchase something I plopped it into my vision board to see how it would fit and look. That way I got exactly what I wanted and knew what it would look like ahead of spending the money! Below is my vision board for the bathroom — only a few things are different than the below board. First, the shower doors are different. We had to go with a semi-frameless surround instead of all glass. The second is the teak towel ladder. Although I LOVE that ladder, I just couldn’t see myself folding my towel and putting it back on there — not to mention, I’m not sure the towels would dry 100% being folded on and hung on the ladder? Third is the tile in the shower — we knew all along we would go with subway tile in the shower to keep a classic look, I just decided not to photoshop that in. And last, the knobs on the vanity and linen cabinet are different. The knobs that came with our vanity were silver and I really wanted all the hardware to match. So I went on Amazon in search of some new black knobs — new black knobs I found and I LOVE them!
