It’s been almost two weeks since I announced my leap into self-employment. Those two weeks flew by! I’ve been catching up on my long list of To-Do’s and squeezed in a bunch of photos of Winnie around the house because the weather has been so off lately and I ended up having to push back a few sessions I had scheduled. I finally got to get out of the house on Sunday and had THE best time photographing Amy & Ian’s Crystal Lake engagement session!
We started our session at Veteran’s Acres in Crystal Lake and it was a little cloudy, but warmer than it had been in a while! About 15-20 minutes after we started our session, the sun started peeking out of the clouds. By the time we started the second half of our session, we had a beautiful golden sunset!
We laughed and talked together as we strolled around the park taking photos of these two beautiful souls. I told Amy as I delivered their gallery to them–I think this is the most images I’ve delivered in a gallery to a client for an engagement session before. Every image we took just screamed happiness, love and beauty.
Thank you for choosing me to be a part of your special day–I’m SO excited for October!
