I first met Heidi at a wedding that I photographed last year in Crystal Lake where she was best friends with the florist and bride at that wedding and took on the role of wedding planner. My first thought- “these threeladies have style.” The wedding that Heidi was helping at in Crystal Lake turned out absolutely beautiful and I loved every moment of photographing that day. So when Heidi & her fiancé Chris reached out to me a few months later about photographing their big day, I was overjoyed that I would get to be working with these talented women again.
Heidi & Chris had their wedding at MJ’s Farm in Marshall, WI and they couldn’t have picked a more perfect and beautiful venue! The owner, MJ, was so wonderful and such a pleasure to meet and work with. Heidi’s best friend Keely from Mayfield Flowers did a fantastic job on the floral arrangements. I always love photographing weddings she does the flowers for, because I can’t wait to see what she puts together next. Every arrangement they design is so amazing.
Heidi & Chris put heart and love into every detail of their big day. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, where I received a “welcome bag” from the bride & groom, to the fabulous sparkler exit at their reception. They had a play area for the kids, a bonfire area with s’more making, and even a station to write letters to the troops.
This truly was a wedding to remember. I feel so blessed to have such wonderful clients and even more blessed to be able to call them my friends at the end of the day.
Heidi & Chris- thank you SO much for having me photograph your wedding day. I had an absolute wonderful time photographing you and your family. xo
